OptimiserRaw timber is prepared for finger-jointing and componentry grades. For ultimate recovery markings are scanned, measured, calculated and cut according to pre-determined specifications. |
Manual DefectingFour saws are a manual version of the Optimiser. After visual inspection the appropriate product mix is directly fed to the Jointer. |
FingerJointing2000 - GreCon Dimter Combipact 5 finger-jointer joints with a 4mm european style micro-joint, bonded with a Melamine Urea Formaldehyde adhesive system to conform to Australasian jointing standards. 2005 - GreCon Dimter HS 180 high speed edge to edge finger-jointer with a 6mm micro joint bonded with melamine urea and recorcinol adhesive. |
MouldingThree Weinig machines shape timber to specific dimensions and profiles. Each has a slightly different design and capacity dependent on profile type, dimension and required volume run. |
TreatmentJenkins fully computerised FutureProof treatment facility uses LOSP (Light Organic Solvent Preservative) to treat up to H3 Hazard Class. This is suited to our exterior range where insect and fungal protection is required. Product is profiled before treatment as no dimensional or structural change occurs during this solvent borne process. |
Pre-primingWhere required, Tru-Pine products are pre-primed by spray application with an alkyd paint priming system. LaminatingTru-Pine posts and beams are laminated with a Resorcinol adhesive system resulting in product with structural integrity and soundness. |
Packing and ExportProduct destined for export markets is packaged and loaded onto shipping bases or containers under our control, on site. |
